DESCRIPTION:For us youths\, the Bible might seem to be something of old times\, far away from us. But is it? \nThe Bible is not something of the past. The Lord does not speak in the past but speaks in the present\, He speaks to us today. \nOthers describe the Bible as the loving letter of God to us. But many questions arise when “reading” the Bible. \nThese are some of the common arguments:\n“It is full of contradictions and discrepancies”\n“The Bible is full of violence\, genocide\, prejudice\, and injustice\, often commanded by God”.\n“The Bible’s descriptions of nature and natural history are hopelessly at odds with science.”\nIt is never wrong to ask questions about the Bible. Questions are natural ones to ask. I asked them myself over the years\, but they have driven me to love more the Bible as the Word of God. \n\n**YouthReach is a youth community within the parish of Attard. We organize regular weekly meetings\, every Tuesday at 6.15pm for youths with ages 13 to 18** \n
