What does it mean to be deaf? Are there any limitations the Deaf encounter in every day life? Is sign language universal? Do all Deaf people have Deaf parents, and where do Deaf people go to school? How do Deaf people talk on the phone, and how do they know when someone is at the door?

Mr Steven Mulvaney, Vice President of the Deaf People Association Malta, will be leading this meeting, giving us his personal experience, answering our questions and tackling some common misconceptions about the Deaf. We will also come in contact with Maltese Sign Language during this meeting =)
