The Bible is so dangerous that some Christians risk persecution to have one. There are more persecuted Christians in the world today than in the early days of the Church. On January 19th the non-denominational organization based in the Netherlands presented its 2022 World Watch List (WWL) which ranks the top 50 countries where Christians experience the worst persecution for their faith. And why are they persecuted? They are persecuted for the purpose of silencing the positive witness of believing individuals or communities. They are also convicted because they own a Bible. And you? How much are you familiar with the Bible? Is the Word of God (Bible) still relevant in your life? Do you agree with the statement, “Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Jesus”? We will be discussing these questions at our next meeting and see how we can relate to a secular society that does not know Jesus
